Advance computer skills required

1. Manages and motivates all front office and guest services personnel with the daily supervision to include staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, payroll and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction.
2. Checks and controls room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue. Compiles and prepares financial reports, including: rate and availability calendar.
3. Communicates with guests and associates both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction in advising and instructing staff in details of work. Organizes, conducts and/or attends meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.

OTHER DUTIES: Include performing room inspections; assisting in check in/out guests or any related guest service activity. Performs duties as requested. Job Requirements: Minimum two years' experience as Front Office supervisor or Assistant Director of Front Office Operations. Must possess extensive knowledge of the Opera Fidelio system. Other computer systems knowledge a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze complex statistical data and make judgments accordingly. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. College degree preferred. Applicants with additional language skills desirable.
